Digital Security Door Locks Sunshine Coast
Upgrade a new or existing security door with PIN, RFID, smartphone and key access—while retaining the operation of your door’s existing triple-locking system.

No More Searching for Keys
The biggest benefit of a digital security door lock is not the technology itself—it is how much easier it makes everyday life.
Children can let themselves in after school without carrying a key. You can take the dog for a walk without bringing keys or even a phone. Family members are less likely to become locked out, and there is no need to hide a spare key somewhere outside the house.
At our own home, we keep a small RFID disc attached to our phones. When we arrive home, we simply hold the phone against the lock to open the door. We are not using the phone app or searching for keys—the RFID tag attached to the phone provides quick and simple access.
You can choose whichever entry method suits you:
- Enter your personal PIN on the keypad
- Hold an RFID card or tag against the lock
- Unlock the door using the Bluetooth app
- Use the supplied mechanical key as a backup
Different members of the household can use different methods.
Retains Your Door’s Triple-Locking System
One of the Ultra-Secua lock’s most important advantages is its ability to operate the security door’s existing triple-locking mechanism.
Many digital locks only secure a door at one central point. Ultra-Secua is designed to work with compatible triple-lock systems, allowing the door to continue locking at the top, centre and bottom.
When installing the lock into a new security door, we manufacture the door with its normal triple-locking system. We then change the main lock to the Ultra-Secua while retaining the existing top and bottom locking components.
Upgrade an Existing Security Door
You do not necessarily need to purchase a new security door to enjoy digital access.
Screens Plus can retrofit the Ultra-Secua lock to almost any suitable existing security door, including doors fitted with many commonly used locking systems:
- Lockwood
- Austral
- Whitco
- Commandex
During a retrofit, we replace the main lock and connect the Ultra-Secua to the door’s existing locking system. This allows many homeowners to upgrade their current security door rather than replacing the complete door.
The lock can also be fitted to many single-point security and screen doors.
Compatibility depends on the condition and configuration of the existing door and locking system. Screens Plus will confirm suitability before installation.

Give Different People Their Own Access
The Ultra-Secua app allows you to create and manage different users instead of giving everyone the same key.
You can provide access for:
- Children and other family members
- Visiting friends and relatives
- Cleaners and carers
- Tradespeople
- Employees
- Guests staying in holiday accommodation
Temporary PINs can be created when someone only needs access for a particular period. This means you can provide entry without handing over a physical key or leaving one hidden at the property.
This feature can be especially useful for Airbnb properties, holiday accommodation and rental properties where different guests or service providers require access at different times.
Optional Internet Hub for Remote Access
The standard Ultra-Secua lock connects to your phone through Bluetooth when you are near the door.
For access over the internet, an optional hub can be installed within approximately two metres of the lock. Once connected, the hub allows you to communicate with the lock through the app from anywhere you have internet access.
Remote access may be helpful if:
- A family member arrives home unexpectedly
- You need to provide access to a visitor
- A cleaner or tradesperson needs to enter
- You manage an Airbnb or holiday property
- You want greater control while away from home
The hub is a separate optional accessory and is not required for normal PIN, RFID, key or nearby Bluetooth access.

Ultra-Secua Digital Lock Prices
We believe clear pricing makes it easier to decide whether a digital security door lock is right for your home.
| Installation option | Price including GST |
|---|---|
| Ultra-Secua lock added to a new compatible security door | $450 |
| Ultra-Secua retrofitted to a compatible existing security door | $550 |
| Optional internet hub | $150 |
The new-door price is for the digital lock upgrade and is additional to the price of the security door.
Retrofit pricing applies to suitable existing doors and locking systems. We will inspect or assess your door and confirm compatibility before proceeding.
Long Battery Life With Key Backup
The Ultra-Secua is designed to operate efficiently with minimal maintenance.
The app displays the remaining battery level as a percentage, making it easy to check the battery’s condition before it becomes flat. Depending on how frequently the door is used, most households can expect approximately two to three years of battery life.
Replacement batteries are easy to install and can be purchased online or through Screens Plus.
If the batteries do become flat, the lock includes a mechanical key override. You can still unlock the door using the supplied key rather than being locked outside.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can a digital lock be fitted to my existing security door?
In most cases, yes. Ultra-Secua can be retrofitted to almost any suitable security door, including many doors using Lockwood, Austral, Whitco and Commandex locking systems. We will confirm compatibility before installation.
Does the Ultra-Secua retain triple locking?
When installed with a compatible triple-locking system, the Ultra-Secua operates the existing top, centre and bottom locking points. This is a major advantage over digital locks that operate only a single central locking point.
Do I need my phone to unlock the door?
No. You can unlock the door using a PIN, RFID card or tag, Bluetooth smartphone app or mechanical key. You can leave home without your phone and still enter using your PIN.
Can children have their own PIN?
Yes. Different users can be created, allowing family members to have their own access. This is useful for children arriving home from school without needing to carry a key.
Can I give a temporary PIN to a visitor or tradesperson?
Yes. Temporary access can be created for visitors, cleaners, tradespeople and other people who only need to enter for a limited period.
Can I unlock the door when I am away from home?
Remote internet access requires the optional hub, which must be located within approximately two metres of the lock. Without the hub, the smartphone app connects by Bluetooth when you are near the door.
What happens if the batteries go flat?
The battery level can be checked through the app. If the batteries do become flat, the lock includes a mechanical key override for backup entry.
How long do the batteries last?
Battery life depends on usage, but most customers can expect approximately two to three years. Replacement batteries are readily available and easy to change.
What warranty does the Ultra-Secua lock have?
The Ultra-Secua digital security door lock is covered by a 24-month product warranty.
