PVC vs Wooden Plantation Shutters:

We offer both PVC and timber designs, but unless you’re getting timber for the beautiful exposed grain, we recommend choosing PVC most of the time. PVC installations are optimal for most applications – it is cheaper and it is typically stronger and not prone to warping like timber is. You won’t have to worry about your shutters being ruined by rain if a storm rolls over while your windows are open, and if you’re getting your shutters painted anyway, it makes no sense to opt for timber over the cheaper, more durable PVC.
